Close to Old Town with a great shuttle service. Room cleanliness was lacking upon arrival, and we found issues with the carpet.

Spacious room with great amenities like a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast had a solid variety each morning. We faced loud noise from the nearby highway. Shuttle service was delayed both times we used it.

Ideal choice for a weekend rest in Alexandria with very good value for money. It was quiet and clean.

Our stay was fantastic because we were only a few minutes from the vibrant Old Town Waterfront, where we enjoyed lovely strolls and picturesque views. The hotel was also conveniently close to several museums like the National Inventors Hall of Fame and Gadsby's Tavern, all within just 3 kilometers. Access to the metro was a breeze, making it easy to hop over to Washington, D.C. to enjoy more landmarks and delicious restaurants. Plus, a free shuttle service to Old Town Alexandria was a pleasant bonus! The staff were friendly and the breakfast spread diverse, providing a great start to our busy days. My only minor complaint was that the dining area got a bit crowded on weekends, but overall, it didn’t diminish our great experience.

I was really disappointed with the cleanliness. Our room had a small tissue on the floor, and the bathroom was just as bad. Stains everywhere, old furniture, and the sheets felt itchy. Definitely not what I'd expect for a hotel stay.

Great location and helpful staff. Wi-Fi was spotty, and mattresses need replacing.

Clean spacious rooms with two beds worked well for my family. The staff offered complimentary drinks and snacks that were nice touches for everyone.
It wasn't budget-friendly, but the value made it acceptable.

I loved the quiet vibe of my room. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. The breakfast was solid, and the crew kept everything stocked. Clifton at the front desk was amazing and helped fix my reservation mistake. The toilet felt a bit low, though, definitely weird if you're tall.

Quiet and clean with a great location next to the Mt. Vernon trail for a scenic walk. Friendly staff and a good breakfast made mornings pleasant. The room was spacious, with ample towels, though the furniture felt outdated and the mattress too hard for comfort. WiFi was surprisingly fast, even for video chats. my experience was clouded by cleanliness issues—old stains on the carpet and musty smells throughout made it less inviting. The pool was nice but had debris, and service varied during check-in, leaving room for improvement.

During my recent stay at Hampton, there were a few things that stood out to me. The room itself was spacious and clean, which was a big plus for me. I also appreciated the fact that there was a sitting area where I could relax and unwind after a long day of activities. there were a couple of issues that made my stay less than ideal. The air conditioning unit in the room wasn't working properly, and despite multiple attempts to have it fixed, the room remained warm and muggy. This was especially frustrating considering the hot weather outside and the fact that I had a baby with me. the noise level outside the room was quite high, with sound coming from the freeway and also some disturbances in the parking lot at night. It made me feel a bit uneasy, especially with homeless individuals wandering around. On a more positive note, the staff at Hampton were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options. The check-in process was swift and the general manager was particularly welcoming. my stay at Hampton had its ups and downs.

The staff is friendly and very helpful, and the place was clean and neat.
The old furniture and lack of streaming options was a letdown.

The room had a nice layout and was well equipped with plenty of towels. Temperature control was an issue initially; the air conditioning blew warm air despite being set to 60 degrees. The bathtub and shower were quite nice, adding to the comfort. I appreciated the request for a quiet room, and it delivered. The bed was comfortable for resting after a long day out. cleanliness could be improved; the carpet felt worn. The overall ambiance was decent, though the musty smell lingered in the hallways. Staff responsiveness varied, but some were very helpful.

Pleasant staff, especially Jervid from Ethiopia, made for a warm welcome. The location is ideal—close to the Mt. Vernon trail for easy walks. Clean rooms and decent breakfast supported a comfortable stay. Despite initial concerns, WiFi was surprisingly fast, accommodating video calls effortlessly. issues arose. The room had an uninvited aroma of marijuana, likely from adjacent guests. There were also unexpected pets despite the no-animal policy—an allergy concern. The hotel is showing its age; rooms could benefit from updates, and better noise isolation from the highway would enhance comfort. Security is a major flaw. Overnight, someone stole all four wheels from our rental. A shocking breach of trust in a paid lot. Proceed with caution.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Enjoyed the free hot breakfast buffet and the modern fitness center, perfect for my intense workouts. Late check-out was a plus. The complimentary Wi-Fi saved me from boredom.
The toilet in my room seemed designed for small children, making it challenging for adults to use.

The location was great, close to Old Town and with convenient parking. The room was clean and free of bedbugs, a relief! Additionally, the staff took quick action when there was noise disturbance by other guests above me. Kudos to Cedric for being proactive and resolving the issue promptly.
Sadly, the place had a persistent musty smell, and the rooms weren't as clean as expected. The pool was dirty, with limited operating hours, making it a challenge to enjoy.

The hot breakfast options were great with eggs, sausage, and waffles to fuel up in the morning. The convenience shop had an excellent selection of wine and beer. The room's decor was modern and clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows for a good night's sleep. The hotel was conveniently located near Old Town and offered reasonable prices for the stay.
The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Dirty towels and hair were found in various locations, including the closet and bathroom.

Our family had a blast at the Capital One Arena, catching a thrilling game while enjoying the electric atmosphere. The convenience of the nearby location made it a memorable experience for us all.
My wife says that a dedicated kids' play area would enhance family stays.

My friends and I had a blast hitting up the game at the Capital One Arena and the energy at RFK Stadium was off the charts! We were living our best lives in the heart of the action, eating good, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
Just one elevator? Come on!

the location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and plenty of things to do for kids. the staff at the desk were awesome, very pleasant and knowledgeable. the breakfast buffet was excellent, and we really appreciated the two door entry and ample parking for handicap folk. the shuttle service was very good, although we wished it could take us to the harbor and MGM. overall, a truly enjoyable stay.
Nothing, it was perfect! 😊

I chose Hampton Inn due to its location near the historic Carlyle House. However, the 24-hour convenience store pleasantly surprised me. Free breakfast and WiFi were great amenities.
Rude front desk and slow response to fire alarm.
